GreenRock Rare Earth Recovery Acquires Unrivaled Rare Earth Recovery Technology

GreenRock Rare Earth Recovery Corp. & Creative Recycling Technologies sign exclusive deal to bring world leading rare earth recovery technology to the United States.

Tampa, FL February 21, 2012

GreenRock Rare Earth Recovery, Corp. announced today along with partner, Creative Recycling Technologies, the acquisition of Swiss developed BluBox Rare Earth Processing Technology. The system was manufactured by BLUBOX Trading AG and is the best available technology in the world for the recovery of heavy rare earth elements. GreenRock has exclusive rights to the technology in the United States.

Already in use in Europe, the BluBox technology separates and recovers the heavy rare earth elements from a multitude of commercial and consumer end-of-life electronics in the most environmentally safe manner. Recycling of these rare earth elements will provide a much needed alternative supply.

“GreenRock and Creative Recycling are making a significant investment in world leading technology, bringing true e-cycling solutions to the US,” said Jon Yob, CEO and Founder of Creative Recycling Systems. We are very excited about our new technology’s ability to address a major challenge of the electronics recycling industry, the processing and recovery of these strategically important rare earth materials.”

The BluBox systems will be strategically placed across the country over the next couple of years. In addition to the positive environmental impact, the new GreenRock facilities will create hundreds of new jobs.

About GreenRock Rare Earth Recovery Corporation
GreenRock’s mission is to facilitate corporate partnerships and joint ventures between stakeholders that add value in the recovery and recycling of rare earth elements. The mining of rare earth elements is not only costly, but damaging to the environment. Used today in a vast spectrum of products and technologies, these 17 finite elements that make up the rare earths are also being used to create greener and more sustainable technologies for the future.
